Fun Kids Artwork~!

I ran across this picture in my files today and thought that it was kinda fun to share!  I went on a little tour of my sis-in-law's friends house and she had these hanging up on the walls.  She is very artsy!

This is her kids' foot prints on this canvas that she painted and had framed

This one is their hand prints!

She had them hanging right in her main area of her home.  I thought they were great~!

Lazy Days

Do you ever just have those days when you just can't get going?  You just wish you could lay in a bed like this all day.

Or soak in a tub like this...
http://thisphotographerslife.blogspot.com/

I have a whole list of things I need to get done.  I just don't have any moto in me to do it!
Is there anywhere I can buy that in a bottle!  Like a lifetime supply?

Inspirational Quote

My good friend had this quote on her blog.  Her parents had it printed out in vinyl and she has it in her entry way so that they can see it all the time!  What a great thing to be reminded of all the time.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear in that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our Light, not our Darkness,
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the World. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel unsure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
As we let our own Light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Organization

Since it is the start of the new year and we all have the extra crap stuff from Christmas in our houses, I think it is time to organize!
Here are a few things that I did last year that have worked for me and very easy to keep up.  Sometimes when we organize it is hard to keep up because were either:
 1. Too lazy to put it back where it goes.
2. It isn't an efficient system that we have made.
These are things that have worked for me.

This picture is the underneath part of those built in shelves.  I just took hooks and put them in the 1x3's, bought fish hook containers in the fishing dept. @ Wal-Mart, organized my jewelry to my liking.
 Bata-bing Bata-bang!

It also works to hang bracelets and necklaces!

The rest of the sheves I use to put my pants on.
It seems to work better for me than hanging them up.

I use all white hamger for a uniform look.
I hang my clothes first according to color and then short sleeve or long sleeves.
When I take a piece of clothing off of the hanger, I simply put the hanger back where I got it from and then I know exactly where to put the item back after I am done wearing it!  That way I found I am never searching for hangers.

For my shoes I went and got the dollar bins from Wal-Mart.
Make sure that they are clear so you can see what is in there without opening a bunch of containers!

Happy Organizing!

Nursery Wall for baby K

I came across this picture of a wall I did for my brother and his wife for their baby's nursery.  I don't think I have posted it before.  It turned out really cute.  The rest of the room was painted brown.  She had a big K on the wall for "Kingston".  And some other cutre decor.

Tin Shelf has a new home!

I have found a new home for the thrift store tin shelf!  Above the potty in my master bedroom.  Funny place you might say.  But it looks cute!

Gotta Love a Good Bargain

I went to the thrift store yesterday and found some great deals!  Nothing like a good bargain!

I found these cute fabric storage bins for $3/both.  They fold down for an easy put away!

They have a little place for a label!  Can't beat that for $3!

I also found this decorative tin shelf for a whopping $2!!!

This heavy duty planter was only $1!
Stay tuned for what I do with them!
